I invited Missionary sisters and elders to a durian feast at Jalan 2/65, P. Jaya on Tues. night 4/8/09. Cindy Teh the Pahang owner, gave a special deal for foreigners.---Sis. Russel, Sis.Carlk, Sis McCurdy, and Elder Peters and Elder Longmore. Along came Joyce Goh, Frendrich, Nievel. Jaszlyn was with me. 'Eat all you can' for RM 10 pax.
I described to them--Durian was the King of Fruits In Malaysia, It was a thorny fruit with succulent flesh in each seed. It smelt and stunk like Hell and tasted sweet like Heaven. Aphrodiasac. Nausating. The result: Two elders ate 71 fruit pulps, leaving the seeds, Sis Russel 14, Clar 3, and McCurdy half seed, Jaszylyn 20, Anthony 24. The Elders were champions eater of Durian!
